Steve Parish

Previous President

________

I grew up in upstate New York in the 50’s and 60’s.  After receiving a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Cornell University, I moved to Colorado to work as a CPA in public accounting in Denver. In 1981, I took a position in Boulder and have lived and worked from Boulder ever since. My career, from which I recently retired, was evenly split between corporate CFO positions and International Sales and Marketing positions.

I am married to Ann Harris. We enjoy our 3 grandchildren who live in Pennsylvania as much as possible. My passions include bird watching, interacting with foreign cultures through international travel and staying physically active every day. I have been a Rotarian since 2013.

Jeff Strobel

Board Member

________

Retired from Georgia Pacific after 30+ years in sales of professional products. Outside of Rotary I donate my time to Sister Carmen Community Center, Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, and Trinity Lutheran Church.  My hobbies include travel, hiking, and bridge. I’ve been a Boulder area resident since 1981.

Brian Margolis

Board Member

________

I followed in my father’s footsteps and worked in the wine and spirits distribution industry for several years. After traveling between Boulder, Colorado and the mountain ski towns, I discovered a passion for real estate. I settled in the Front Range to start my real estate career and raise my family in 1999. While I didn’t stay in the family business, I learned all my best practices from my dad. He taught me the importance of relationships: to give every client my very best and treat every person with equal value and respect.

I have been a member of both the Brighton Club (Past President) and now the Boulder Valley Club for almost 10 years.  My Mother came from humble beginnings, which reminds me how fortunate we are and that it is necessary to give back to your community. Ironically, I find myself co-chairing the Town of Superior's 25th Annual Beer and Chili Fest, where the proceeds go directly back to buying dictionaries for 3rd graders in BVSD and funding scholarships for freshmen attending college.  Life is a circle!
